Television Series Review: GLEE

This story is about Glee, a musical comedy-drama television series that airs on Fox in the United States. It focuses on the high school Glee Club New Directions competing on the show choir competition circuit, while its members deal with relationship, sexuality and social issues.
This week's Glee was as close to a typical episode of the series as you can get. Not that Glee has 'typical' episodes, as each is usually very different. What I liked about this week was the nice, easy pace, with each of the main kids getting some interesting plot. The adults pretty much took the week off. The kids not only got to act, but also sing, as, with the exception of Artie (Kevin McHale) and Brittany (Heather Morris), each got to sing as well.

Which means we finally heard the voice of Mike Chang (Harry Shrum Jr.), who is the only early glee club member still around that has not been upgraded to full-time character status. Mike is known for his dancing, but has never had a solo. The duet he did with current girlfriend, Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) was perfect, his off-key wailing flowing beautifully with her flowery lyrics. As they haven't had much screen time to establish them as a couple, it was a great showcase for why they are drawn to each other. I still want Tina back with Artie, but I now understand what she sees in Mike, and I like it.
Poor, poor Artie. He was caught in the middle of something he didn't understand. My new theory is that Brittany is definitely a lesbian. I think she has had sex with all the guys simple for attention, or because she thinks that is what is expected of her as a Cheerio. It's really quite sad. I think we saw some real feelings from her towards Santana (Naya Rivera) this week. Their bedroom scene was touching, and Brittany's jealousy was real. I hope, for her sake, that Santana will return those feelings. I can't decide if Santana is bi-sexual, or just a nymphomaniac. I hope Santana wasn't just using Brittany, but clearly she also enjoys the man she's been with. Any way it plays out, this has given a deeper level to two of the more surface characters, and another couple to root for. Brittany is like a lost puppy dog (see picture), and her naive ditz is her charm. I'm totally in her corner at this point.

The other issue in this episode is homosexual, lesbian. This is not a latest issue but it doesn't mean that this is a normal. We have to limit our social boundaries to make sure that we will not involve with this unhealthy activity. Its true that we have to be friend with everyone but it doesn't mean we have to be like them. Behave ourselves.

Romance is also blossoming for Quinn (Dianna Agron) and the club's newest member, Sam (Chord Overstreet). I feel like, after the events of last season, Quinn doesn't have someone currently around that can be the man she wants. Sam may quite nicely fill that vacuum. He is clearly a very good guy, refusing to bow to peer pressure, standing up for Kurt (Chris Colfer). Quinn deserves such a man; one who won't judge her. I like them a lot.

In my opinion,it is very important for a director to interpret good values in every story and Glee is one of the television series that really suits the heart of every people who watch it. The concept and the main idea was really fresh and fun to watch. That all from me, thank you.

Article review (part 2)

Nowadays, social networking is a very influential medium among Malaysians. Examples of such sites are Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, and Tumblr. A majority of the users are tertiary students. There are 3 advantages of such sites for tertiary students which are communication, information sharing and entertainment.

Communication allows us to be mobile to use video chatting and to find new friends. Mobile communication helps us to connect with people such as relatives friends from places far away. Thanks to the evolution of technology, we can now see people's faces when we chat with them. This is called video chatting. Infomation sharing is the process of exchanging data among various computer networks, usually operated by separate organizations. Entertainment may also provide fun, enjoyment, and laugther. There are many forms of entertainment for example cinema, theatre, sports, games and social dance. Social networking such have entertainment that games on Facebook, can watch the video on blogger and many more. Therefore, the entertainment through social networking makes our life always happy.

I choose this article because this article is very interesting to read. Article about the social networking is just common way of life for our culture today because most of the people include young people and elder people have their own account social network. This is why I choose this article.

THE ADVANTAGES OF SOCIAL NETWORKING. .
It's great to have friends but you have to admit that there are certain interests you or they have, which neither is not interested in. When this happens, it is time to expand our circle and that is just one of the advantages of social networking.
Social networking enables people who share the same interests to hang out together and this simply means that you are able to make new friends. If for example you are interested in basketball, no one there will get tired of talking about the players or the game which occurred last night or several years ago.
Since most social networking is done over the web, you get to meet individuals from other countries and learn about their culture. How many people do you know keep in touch with someone across the Atlantic or the Pacific? Given that you share something in common, you get to communicate with that person regularly that is very similar to hooking up with your friends after work or school.
From a business point of view, the first two advantages of social networking enable you to meet new clients and expand your business because most of these sites allow you to customize your webpage and provide links to your personal website.
Just to give you a few examples, there is Multiply, MySpace, Friendster, FaceBook and Classmates. With so many around, you won't have a hard time looking for a social network that you like. You can even post ads here so you can inform other members of an event that you are hosting.
The best part about becoming a member of a social network is that majority of these is free. This means that you don't have to pay any fees. All you have to do is sign up by filling up the form and then activating the link when this is sent to you via email. Now that you are a member, you can invite other friends to join and look at other profiles.
The advantages of social networking will allow you to make new friends, promote your business and best of all, won't cost you a thing. But there are some social networking sites that will require you to pay a fee. Before you sign up, consider if this value for your money.
Will social networking sites ever replace meeting people in social events and other gatherings? Of course not because all this medium does is give you more exposure. It allows you to put your best qualities out there especially when first impressions last.
When you join a social networking site, never post any private information about yourself unless you are ready to have people get in touch with you. You shouldn't also put anything embarrassing about yourself because some people have been denied employment because of the information posted.
If there are "privacy" settings in your social networking site, you are advised to use it so you can control who has access to your personal information.
A lot of experts say that social networking is here to stay so we have to take advantage of it. When you do join a social networking site, keep an open and see if this is exactly what you wanted. If not, cancel your account until you find the one that you like.

As conclusion, online social networking offers people great convenience for social networking. Therefore, even though it has its benefits in the virtual world, the real world is greatly impeded by the increasing use of online social networking. Finally, the social networking have three of advantages that are communication, information sharing, and entertainment. Each advantages of social network also have own benefits and each this advantages that have many of benefits to us.

I would choose this article because the article tell about my favourite football team. The article is also very interesting to read and I really like to read article about the sport even more about football. My favourite football team that is Spain became the champions of The World Cup 0f 2010 last year. Spain has strong players in their line and this is what caused them to become champions 2010 world cup last year. I chose this article because this article tells us about the Spanish were defeated Costa Rica 4-1 on Sunday and to confirm its status as one of the early favorites at the under-20 World Cup. This article has also been told that the Spanish have a strategy that is lined with the agile and strong players such as Iniesta and David Villa to win the world cup in 2014 will come. Besides that,  Spain has a strong strategy in their game and that is why I chose it as my favorite football team. After that, Spain faces Ecuador in its next match on Wednesday while group rivals Australia plays Costa Rica on the same day. I am also convinced that Spain will win this next game if they use a sound strategy and an active game and thus will be able to qualify to the 2014 World Cup matches and World Cup champion again.
